Kanali is located near the coast of the Ionian Sea at an altitude of 70 meters and approximately 15 km N.-N.W. from Preveza. The village was initially developed along the Preveza - Igoumenitsa national road, while in recent decades it has expanded below it, where there are now several hotels and rooms to rent, as well as catering establishments. Together with its sandy beach, it is a well-known destination in the wider area during the summer months.
